Moving Arts After School

The Moving Arts After School is a program that we are very excited to introduce. Still in development, we’re targeting late Summer of 2018 to launch this after-school program. The vision is to introduce young adults to areas of fitness that they might not ever be exposed to otherwise.

Making after school programs easily accessible to our community is a top priority for the Element Foundation. We believe that incorporating fitness into the program will not only help these young people in the immediacy, but ultimately throughout their lives. Teaching children to get used to moving and incorporating different types of movement helps them develop confidence and find healthy, creative ways to express themselves. The daily schedule of Moving Arts After School will incorporate boxing, yoga, ballet, martial arts and so much more.

Our goal is to offer Moving Arts After School as a daily after school program to children and young adults in our community whose family may not have the resources to enroll their child in other programs. There are two kinds of funding we seek: the first is for development costs to help us research and acquire equipment and the second maintains the evolution of our programs and procurement of great instructors

In addition to achieving these funding goals, time is reserved in Element Gym's facility to manage efforts that get the word out to the community via social media, email, community outreach, and word of mouth that require ongoing funds.

Immediate Development Funding Goal $3,000

Annual Program Goal $11,000
